Note: This introductory course is not a substitute for the regular summer bar review course but is intended to give you a head start on your bar preparation.
Substantive Review: BAR/BRI will introduce students to the structure of the California bar examination, including the logistics and coverage of the bar examination and techniques to assist in planning for the effort necessary to study for the bar examination. BAR/BRI instructors will also provide approximately two hours of substantive review in one heavily-tested bar subject. The subject will be determined by BAR/BRI. In preparation for Workshop Two, BAR/BRI will give students a series of fact patterns to review over the week and teach them strategies for studying and memorizing the black letter law.
Approximate duration: 3-4 hours with two 15-minute breaks
Additional Incentives: BAR/BRI will offer $100.00 scholarships to each student who attends all four workshops and an additional $50 scholarship to each student who submits both the practice essay and performance test to BAR/BRI for grading.
