​Current Work Study Opportunities

Federal Work Study (FWS) Program

Part-time, on- and off-campus temporary employment is available for students who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this programs is provided by the federal government and the University of San Diego School of Law. A typical Federal Work Study award is $4,000 per student per academic year. Students participating in the work program have to opportunity to reduce their loan indebtedness and, in many positions, obtain relevant legal experience.

Summer Work Opportunity Program

The law school sponsors a Summer Work Opportunity Program that enables students to work for community service agencies. Generally, several positions are awarded annually to upper-division students. The awarding of this funding is subject to the availability of funding.
