This position works with the communications/publications team to assist with information management of the school’s law journals. Tasks include routing official written correspondence from law journals to article authors, logging incoming law journals articles and assigns to lead editors, updating and maintaining photo archive, publication files and mailing lists. Assists in formatting law journal articles and processing brokers’ claims and checks. Campus errands as required (print shop, mail delivery, procurement, etc.). Other projects as assigned.
- Competent using Microsoft Word 2007 and Excel
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and adhere to deadlines
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to take instruction and process items quickly but accurately
- Experience with ExpressO or other journals management system preferred but not necessary
10-20 per week
