Work-Study Opportunites for Students with Communications Background


This position works with the communications/publications team to assist with information management for 10-15 communications projects per semester. Tasks include researching and writing news releases, compiling information for special events, general research, editing, copying, faxing, e-mailing, filing and on-campus delivery.


  • Knowledge of Associated Press style guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision
  • Competent using Microsoft Word
  • Experience with HTML and advanced experience communicating via social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter) preferred but not necessary


10-20 per week
