Each year the USD School of Law awards several scholarships sponsored by various university benefactors to law students. Note that the criteria, number of awards, and amount of money awarded for these scholarships may change at any time due to funding, endowment earnings, donors’ restrictions or other institutional priorities. All scholarships will be coordinated with other financial aid.

The Advancing Black Leadership and Scholarship in the Law Endowed Fund scholarship will be awarded to a continuing student who exhibits leadership qualities in the USD School of Law community. The Advancing Black Leadership and Scholarship in the Law student scholarship fund is for law students who have demonstrated support for and commitment to: Equal access to justice and education for the Black population Lifting Black voices and raising issues affecting black communities. Fighting against racism, racial injustice, and prejudices.

BusinessLink Scholarship is part of a USD-wide scholarship created by gifts from BusinessLink Members (a corporate consortium). The law school scholarship will be based on financial need and/or merit. The annual distribution from the Fund shall be used to provide scholarship support for graduate and undergraduate students in the seven (7) schools/colleges on the USD Campus.
