Student with Disabilities

Federal law requires universities to provide reasonable accommodation(s) to students with documented disabilities that may substantially impair or limit their ability to achieve their maximum academic potential. USD’s Disability and Learning Difference Resource Center is responsible for securing and maintaining this documentation as it relates to the disability claims of each student who chooses to identify himself/herself.

Each request and/or recommendation for an accommodation is examined on a case-by-case basis by USD’s Disability and Learning Difference Resource Center (DLDRC), located in Serra Hall 300, and implemented after meeting with the student and assessing his/her needs.

For more information or to make a request for an accommodation, please visit the Disability and Learning Difference Resource Center website or call (619) 260-4674.
