This year’s theme is “Preparing Practice-Ready Students.” Law professors, legal writing instructors, law librarians, and those interested in entering these fields are invited to attend. Registration: 8:30 a.m. Program InformationA keynote presentation from USD School of Law Dean Stephen C. Ferruolo accompanies three workshops: “Teaching with New Research Platforms & Technology,” “What do Legal Supervisors Want From Their Externs, Clerks and Associates?” “Designing Practice-Ready Legal Writing Projects.” And “Teaching Professional Communication in a New Era.” Presenters and moderators include USD Legal Research and Writing Professors Alastair Agcaoili, Lisa Cannon and Jason Potter; USD librarians Judith Lihosit, Jane Larrington and Anna Russell; and Assistant Dean for Career Services Cara Mitnick.
