Ms. Fell has handled a wide range of matters including sexual harassment defense arising in the employment context, defense of expert witnesses in civil rights violation litigation, the locally highly publicized La Jolla Children’s Pool case, an ineffective assistance of counsel matter which resulted in a widely-cited Ninth Circuit reported opinion, and numerous employment-related disputes. Ms. Fell has also defended industry leaders in breach of contract, partnership disputes, and antitrust disputes. Ms. Fell’s employment practice involves defense of sexual harassment and discrimination cases before administrative agencies, the California Superior Court, and U.S. District Court and defense of class actions brought under provisions of the California Labor Code. Ms. Fell also conducts employment compliance audits for companies of all sizes. Ms. Fell is a regular guest speaker at employment law seminars on the topics of discrimination, sexual harassment and wage and hour compliance. Ms. Fell has handled matters before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, including oral argument. Ms. Fell graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Ms. Fell received the 2004 CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Trial Advocacy and the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award.

Fell is a shareholder of Fleming and Fell, PC in San Diego, where she practices employment law and business litigation. She was previously an associate with Baker & McKenzie, LLP and Klinedinst PC. Fell is a program director for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Deposition Skills and Deposing the Expert Witness programs, where she has taught both deposition skills and trial skills since 2008.
Honors and Affiliations
Fell is the recipient of the School of Law’s 2013 Rising Star Recent Alumni Award. She has been recognized twice as a Top Young Attorney by the San Diego Daily Transcript, was named a Philippine American Business Improvement and Development Rising Star, and was the 2012-13 San Diego Filipino-American Official Representative and Ambassador of Goodwill. Fell graduated magna cum laude from the School of Law, where she was a member of the San Diego Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Fell received the 2004 CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Trial Advocacy and the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award. She is an advisory board member of San Diego Fil-Am Youth Foundation and a past vice president of Filipino-American Lawyers of San Diego.
