Michael Amon

Areas of Expertise

Professor Amon teaches in the areas of intellectual property law and patent litigation. 

Professional Experience

Amon clerked for the Honorable James F. Stiven and the Honorable Rudi Brewster at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He is a patent litigator at Fish & Richardson P.C. His practice emphasizes all aspects of patent litigation, from discovery through trial, including motion practice and claim construction. His cases have involved computer hardware and software, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, medical devices, chemical composition technology, and other technology areas.

Honors and Affiliations

Amon graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is a member of the J. Clifford Wallace American Inn of Court and the American Bar Association.
