Areas of Expertise
Professor Schovsbo teaches intellectual property rights law. His scholarly research currently focuses on the relationship between intellectual property rights and competition law.
Schovsbo is professor of intellectual property rights at the University of Copenhagen, Centre for Information and Innovation Law. He has been a visiting professor at a number of foreign universities including universities in Scandinavia, China (Renmin and Shang Dong), France (CEIPI), and the U.S. (University of San Diego).
Honors and Affiliations
Schovsbo is a member of the Danish administrative court for trademarks and designs, and the Danish and Domain Name Panel.
Schovsbo is the author or coauthor of nine monographies on intellectual property rights including a Danish course book and has published extensively in Danish, Scandinavian and international law journals primarily on intellectual property rights.
