Professor Horning teaches real estate transactions. 

Professional Experience

Horning is a principal at California Business Law Group, PC, which he founded in 2002. He is a former commercial real estate broker and developer. Horning has secured land-use entitlements and financing, supervised architectural design and construction, negotiated commercial leases, and brokered sales of offices and other commercial properties. He worked for the Port of San Diego Property Department where he handled lease matters for industrial and commercial waterfront properties around San Diego Bay, including at San Diego International Airport, Lindbergh Field. Horning served as acting airport manager at Lindbergh Field during renovation and expansion of terminal and airfield facilities.

Honors and Affiliations

Horning graduate magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a member of the San Diego Law Review and Order of the Coif. He currently is co-chair of the San Diego County Bar Real Property Section, and vice-chair of the Housing Committee of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.
