Donna Crosby

Professor Crosby teaches Federal Tax Procedure.

Professional Experience

Crosby is an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Office of Chief Counsel. She now works in the large business and international division where she primarily handles issues involving the telecommunications industry and shelter litigation cases; previously she worked at the IRS as a trial attorney in the small business/self-employed division, and prior to that she was an attorney-advisor for the U.S. Tax Court and a senior associate of a tax controversy group at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Honors and Affiliations

Crosby was part of a group that received the 2006 National Chief Counsel B. John Williams Litigation Team Award for their work on a large shelter case. While a law student, Cosby received the Ralph Gano Miller Award for Excellence in Taxation as well as the Tax Policy Award for Excellence in Federal Tax Policy.
