Professor Kane is a supervising attorney for USD's Immigration Clinic.

Professional Experience

Working with USD’s Immigration Clinic since 2011, Kane’s cases range from deportation defense to assisting victims of domestic violence obtain U-visas. Prior to USD, Kane worked for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office in Vista, Calif., focusing on arraignments and plea bargain negotiations. Kane has also worked in various legal capacities for the United States Department of the Navy, most recently as attorney/advisor responsible for base operations contracts at Camp Pendleton.

Honors and Affiliations

Kane received a Commendation from the Navy in 1999 for Vita Service to the United States Marine Corps.
