USD School of Law Professor Mary Jo Wiggins Presents at UCSD's Osher Institute

SAN DIEGO (July 5, 2017) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Professor Mary Jo Wiggins gave a lecture on July 6th at University of California, San Diego's Osher Institute titled"What's in your wallet? Debt, Debtors, and Creditors in Modern America."   

In her lecture, Wiggins traced the remarkable evolution of public and private debt in the American economy since the 1950s and discuss the intellectual and policy tensions that animate debt's role in our economic, political and social life. The talk illustrated that, far from being a marginal and static topic, debt is a dynamic phenomenon that challenges our values and attitudes in unexpected ways.
