Areas of Expertise

Waters specializes in criminal cases in settlement and trial with an emphasis in real estate fraud, embezzlement, elder abuse and domestic violence, theft and drugs. He has technical expertise in estate, banking and transactional practice, and he regularly mediated and negotiated resolutions among advocates, attorneys and the courts.

Professional Experience

Waters worked in the Office of the District Attorney’s office from March 1987 to March 2018 and held various positions, most recently, as Deputy District Attorney. He also served as a Special Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Malcolm Baldrige, leading the federal agency tasked with the management and oversight of the Department including N.O.A.A., the Census Bureau, International Trade, Intellectual Property Protection and other U.S. commerce-related issues in Washington D.C. Waters also served time with the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, D.C., as in-house Counsel for the National Committee as well as Republican Members of the House of Representatives, political candidates and their staff.
