Professional Experience

Hauswirth is special counsel and director of litigation and electronic discovery (E-Discovery) services at Cooley, where she specializes in E-Discovery, document retention and information governance counseling. She developed and oversees Cooley’s E-Discovery practice and focuses on the strategic use of legal and technology solutions to handle electronically stored information in complex litigation matters. During 1999-2000, Hauswirth was the Assistant Dean for Law and Technology at Santa Clara University School of Law.

Honors and Affiliations

Hauswirth was named one of the Bay Area’s Top Lawyers under Forty by the San Francisco Daily Journal. She attended Santa Clara University School of Law where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production as well as a member of Women in eDiscovery.
