Asian Pacific American Law Students Association
Harry Wu, human rights activist, converses with law students during a two-day visit arranged by the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
Understanding that a diverse legal profession is better poised to address the concerns of the community, APALSA actively encourages many points of view at the School of Law and supports diversity in the student body and faculty. To further cultural and community awareness, APALSA sponsors activities including speaker panels, debates, workshops and Asian food fairs.
APALSA provides academic support for members through a mentor/mentee program and oral advocacy seminars. APALSA strives to build a strong sense of community, and provides cultural and social support for its members. Membership is open to all students.
