Q: How do I order my cap, gown and regalia for the commencement ceremony?
A: For the most up-to-date information, attend USD's GradFest in mid-February to order your cap, gown and regalia. At GradFest, you will also be able to order commencement announcements, commencement photos and class rings.

Q: When and how will I receive my USD School of Law diploma?
A: Diplomas will be mailed directly to graduates after class rank and honors have been determined, a 2 to 4-week process. It is very important that you update your mailing address in the Records Office in order to receive your diploma in a timely manner.

Q: Can my parents or grandparents be involved in the Commencement ceremony?
A: Parents or grandparents who are alumni of USD School of Law can participate in congratulating graduates on stage at the commencement ceremony. Those who wish to participate should e-mail Student Affairs by February 12, 2010, so that the Alumni and Development Office can order their caps and gowns.

Q: What is the Graduation Party?
A: Sponsored by the Student Bar Association, the Graduation Party is an annual event that celebrates the graduating students. For ticket information please check the SBA Web site in mid-April.

Q: Why is it important to complete the Career Services Graduate Survey?
A: The information you provide on the graduate survey helps the career services office further develop employment opportunities for USD Law graduates and provides statistical information which is reported, collectively and anonymously, to the American Bar Association and to U.S. News & World Report for use in the annual law school rankings.

Q: Why is it important to complete and submit the Keep in Touch Alumni Survey?
A: The information you provide on the Keep in Touch Alumni Survey helps you stay in touch with classmates and other USD Law alumni who are currently working in all legal fields. Joining the USD Law Alumni Association is free and can help you further develop your professional network.
