Job Application Materials Policy
Any misrepresentation in your job application materials (including rounding up your GPA or rounding down your class rank) may be a violation of Section 3.02 of the USD Law Honor Code. Misrepresentations may result in severe sanctions from the Law School.
Career Services will not submit your application materials to an employer if a staff member is aware of any misrepresentation. It is your responsibility to ensure your application materials accurately state all material facts, including class rank, GPA, awards and extracurricular activities.
By participating in Career Services recruiting activities, you agree that you have read and understand the terms of this Representations in Job Application Materials Policy (“Representations Policy”), and further agree to comply with all Representation Policy terms and requirements. You also release Career Services and all related personnel from responsibility for events or consequences arising from or relating to the submission of application materials that do not comply with the terms and requirements of the Representation Policy or the University of San Diego School of Law Honor Code.
