Date and Time:
Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Last fall, the Law School organized and provided a trial skills training program for recent graduates. The faculty members were USD graduates who live and work in the San Diego area and who come from a wide range of law practices and years in practice.
This spring we will provide another training, this time focusing on deposition taking and defending skills. The program is almost a mirror image of a deposition skills program I organize and direct for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. The difference is that the NITA program charges about $2,000 per person and this one will be free to you. We will again be relying on faculty from the community to provide their experience and teaching skills for your benefit.
The training will be held on three different dates. The first session, on Wednesday April 17, will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end around 9:30 p.m.. The second and third sessions will be held on Saturdays April 20 and 27 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. We are planning for as many as 32 post grads to take the course. If you are interested in attending, please contact Trang Pham to reserve your spot.
