Job Board

Our USD Job Board is a centralized online resource for employers providing students and alumni with direct, 24-hour access to your job opportunities. Posted job openings include internships, full-time positions, part-time positions or contract opportunities. There is no cost to post a job opportunity.

Tips for Posting Your Position

USD School of Law’s well qualified students are looking for real-world legal experience, a stepping stone to working as professional attorneys. Therefore, positions submitted to our job board are subject to approval by USD School of Law's Office of Career and Professional Development. Here are a few tips for successfully posting your open position:

  1. Ensure employer contact information is complete in the “internal use only section.”
  2. Ensure the listing is not directed at paralegal or legal administrative candidates.
  3. Ensure your listing does not appear to be an attempt to collect résumés for a search firm.
  4. Ensure that private law firm listings offer compensation for law clerks, interns or externs. We base this policy on the Department of Labor Guidelines for employment of unpaid interns.

If you have any questions concerning our Job Board, please email Career and Professional Development or call (619) 260-4529.

If you are seeking candidates for legal secretary or paralegal positions, please visit the USD Paralegal Career website.
