Mid-May to Mid-August
The Alumni Interactive Program (AIP) provides alumni with one of the most direct ways to make an impact on current USD law students. Help shape the future for tomorrow’s leaders by providing students with a better understanding of your profession. Your involvement with this program can have a profound impact on shaping our current students law school experience. It’s easy to get involved and the opportunities for you to host an event are virtually limitless. Events can be formal or informal; some examples of events include:
- Shadow Visits at a courtroom or law office
- Taking a group of students sailing for an afternoon to share tips on succeeding in their careers and how your career path developed
- Golf with a student or group of students and share your experience as a law student at USD
- Hosting breakfast, lunch or dinner at your law firm, restaurant or home
The goal of AIP is to provide students with a wide variety of opportunities to connect with alumni of USD Law. This program is valuable in adding value to our students classroom experience and allowing them to interact with top professionals in business, law and the judiciary. We encourage you to get involved, share your knowledge and make a difference for USD law students by hosting an event that would be convenient for you.
