The D.C. Torero Club invites you on a history walk around Annapolis while reconnecting with USD friends old and new.

Did you know Annapolis was settled in 1649 by Puritan exiles from Virginia? That may explain the many Irish Pubs sprinkled up and down main street. After the Revolutionary War, Annapolis was the scene of the first meetings of Congress and Washington's resignation from command of the Continental Army in 1783. Learn these and more fun facts as you walk and explore Church Circle, State Circle and the US Naval Academy.

Group will meet at Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub on Maryland Avenue at 1 pm to start the tour.

We hope you can join us for this great opportunity to learn about the local history with other USD alumni, parents, and friends, and enjoy each others' company. Not to mention, this is a great way to get involved and hear what's going on at USD!

We hope to see you there!
