The Sacramento Torero Club invites you to join them for a morning of giving back through community service event.

This morning gathering will take place at the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. We will be sorting through non-perishable food donations. This task does involve walking, standing and light lifting.

Through community support, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services provides emergency groceries to families in need through direct client service as well as through partner agencies, six days per week. In an effort to move families toward self-sufficiency, grocery items such as fresh vegetables and fruit, grains and dairy are distributed instead of hot meals. Through direct food distributions (10 sites per month), as well as partner agencies, 150,000 individuals receive an abundance of fresh groceries every month. Our quality groceries come from a variety of sources including donations from local grocery stores, regional farms and the community. The Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services also owns the Run to Feed the Hungry, a race that happens every year on Thanksgiving morning and is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in the country.

Kids ages 10 and over are welcome to join us! Anyone under 16 must volunteer with an adult.

We look forward to seeing you!
