The University of San Diego School of Law’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS) cordially invites you to its inaugural Sports Law Symposium on March 27, 2015.

Please join SELS to hear distinguished lawyers, sports agents, and other prominent members of the sports industry speak about one of the most pressing topics in today’s sports industry – the notion of an athlete as an employee.The event will consist of a keynote speaker and two panels discussing “NFL Athletes as Employees” and “Wage and Employment Issues in Professional and Amateur Sports.”

SELS is honored to have Robert London – renowned NFL sports advisor and Royalty Consultant’s Executive Director of Global Sports – give the keynote address. Mr. London has done contract negotiations for a number of high-profile NFL players and he is currently a finalist to become Executive Director of the National Football League Player’s Association.

SELS, in conjunction with the University of San Diego School of Law and the Sports Lawyers Association, welcomes all law students and attorneys.

**USD School of Law is a State Bar of California approved provider of MCLE credit and certifies that this activity is approved for 3.25 hours of general credit. Credit forms will be provided at the event.**

Keynote Speaker: Robert London 2nd

Mr. London is Executive Director of Global Sports with Royalty Consultants, and sports advisor to the NFL’s Matt Forte, Maurice Jones-Drew and many other prominent players. As a former analyst of a Wall Street firm, Mr. London transitioned to the sports industry a decade ago and his success has propelled him to a nomination for Executive Director of the NFL Player’s Association (NFLPA).
