The New York Torero Club invites you to join in for a morning of giving back through New York Cares.

Revitalize East River Park
East River Promenade | by the Williamsburg Bridge

New York Cares was founded by a group of friends who wanted to take action against serious social issues that faced the city in the late 1980s. Finding few options to help, they created their own organization to address the problems from the ground up. New York Cares is now the city's largest volunteer managament organization, running volunteer programs for 1,300 nonoprofits, city agencies, and public schools.

Volunteers will garden, plant, mulch, paint, and more on the 57 waterfront acres of the dynamic and sceninc Lower East Side green space of the East River Promenade. New York Cares volunteers have rejuvenated more that 131 parks and gardens.

This is your opportunity to give back to the New York community and connect with fellow USD alumni living in the area.

We hope you're able to join us to beautify our city!
