Maudsley Fellows Society
In 1992, the School of Law founded the Maudsley Fellows Society, named in honor of Professor Ronald H. Maudsley (1918-1981). Born and educated in England, Professor Maudsley became a Distinguished Professor of Law at USD soon after immigrating to the United States in 1977. An admired and respected teacher and scholar, Professor Maudsley served at the School of Law until his death in 1981.
Today, the Maudsley Fellows Society is comprised of the School of Law's most generous donors. Through an annual gift of $1,000 or more, this distinguished group of donors provides the cornerstone of private support to the School of Law. Their gifts enable the law school to maintain high standards of excellence in legal scholarship and teaching for the benefit of students and the legal community as a whole.
