Conference Overview
The opening evening of the event—co-hosted with SDIPLA—on Thursday evening, January 17, at the Marriott in Carmel Valley, will be a reception for Judge Jimmie V. Reyna of the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and will include remarks by well-known professor and Supreme Court advocate, John F. Duffy, University of Virginia School of Law, and subsequent commentary by Judge Reyna. Friday, January 18, is a CLE that includes a series of panels and presentations by Judge Reyna, patent pilot participants Judges Marilyn L. Huff and Janis Sammartino, as well as prominent corporate and law firm counsel, and academics. Attendees will have ample opportunity to participate in the discussion during the presentations and in numerous breaks. The conference is sponsored in part by the generous support of:
