AbstractThis issue of the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues is about American legal education.

After an introductory essay, the articles are grouped in four sets, corresponding to panels at the symposium. First warnings about legal education from Paul Campos, Lloyd Cohen, and Eli Noam; second reflections and responses from law school deans Richard Matasar, Daniel Rodriguez, Edward Rubin, and Steven Smith; third, some sociology of legal education from Clayton Gillette, Gail Heriot, and James Lindgren; and fourth, ideas-or threats-of reform from Jayne Barnard and William Wang.
