AbstractThe Lanham Act refuses registration to marks that are deceptive, deceptively misdescriptive, or geographically deceptively misdeceptive. Deceptive marks are refused registration outright; "merely" deceptively misdescriptive marks, and some "primarily" geographically deceptively misdescriptive marks, may still be registrable.
