Carolina Bravo-Karimi

Adjunct Professor of Law

Carolina Bravo-Karimi received her B.A. in Government from Harvard University in 2002. She received a Masters in Gender Studies from the London School of Economics in 2004. In 2008, she received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.

While in law school, Ms. Bravo-Karimi was actively involved in the Moot Court Program and distinguished herself in various competitions. She competed on USD’s National Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, winning Best Memorial and Fifth Best Oralist in the Eastern Regional Competition, and placed Fifth in the Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court Competition. Upon graduation, Ms. Bravo-Karimi was inducted into the national Order of the Barristers for her excellence in oral advocacy.

Ms. Bravo-Karimi is a law clerk to the Honorable Louisa S Porter in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She teaches in the area of appellate advocacy.
