Professor of Law
Professor Grant H. Morris joined the USD faculty in 1973. He teaches and writes in the areas of torts, and law and psychiatry. He is also a clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. Morris served as a Superior Court mental health hearing officer and is currently a member of the Atascadero State Hospital Advisory Board. Among his recent publications are "The Evil That Men Do: Perverting Justice To Punish Perverts," University of Illinois Law Review and "God Told Me To Kill: Religion or Delusion?" (with Adjunct Professor A. Haroun, M.D.) San Diego Law Review.
