Jan Bejar received his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego, his M.A. in journalism from the University of Southern California, and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, as a certified specialist in immigration and nationality law. In his private law practice, Professor Bejar specializes in immigration law and immigration-related criminal defense matters. He is a frequent speaker on immigration law issues at conferences and legal training programs.
