R. Anthony Bauman, a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law (LL.M. in Taxation, 1999), is a member of the State Bar of California and has been certified as a Specialist in Taxation Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Bauman has practiced law as a trial attorney in San Diego since 1982. The emphasis of his practice is tax litigation, taxation, business law and estate planning. Mr. Bauman teaches Tax Research and Communication at USD. Mr. Bauman has authored published articles including Understanding How The FTB's Legal Division Works ñ A Visit With FTB Chief Counsel John B. Mr. Bauman served as a Radioman in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1971.
