Professor Lynn teaches in the area of tax law.
Professional Experience
Lynn is senior tax counsel with Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company. He manages HP’s tax controversies with the IRS and international tax matters. Prior to joining HP, Lynn practiced with the law firm of Caplin & Drysdale in Washington, DC, focusing on corporate and international tax matters. He joined USD School of Law in 2013.
Honors and Affiliations
Lynn currently serves as the president of the San Diego chapter of the Tax Executives Institute. He previously served as chair of the Recent Developments Subcomittee of the Administrative Practice Committee with the American Bar Association, Tax Section. Lynn also co-chaired the Federal Bar Association’s annual Tax Law Conference in 2008.
