Roy Hoffinger

Areas of Expertise
Professor Hoffinger teaches in the areas of antitrust law and telecommunications law and regulation.
Professional Experience
Hoffinger has been vice president and legal counsel of Qualcomm since 2006. He was vice president and chief counsel of federal and state regulation for Quest between 2001 and 2002. Hoffinger was also the general attorney and chief counsel of federal regulation for AT&T.
Honors and Affiliations
In 2009 and 2011, the Association of Corporate Counsel named Hoffinger “In-house Competition Law Group of the Year.” He was the associate editor of the University of Chicago Law Review. He is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
