Areas of Expertise
Professor Agcaoili teaches courses in legal writing and research. His current research focuses on the fields of international human rights law, federal jurisdiction and civil procedure.
Professional Experience
Agcaoili clerked for the Honorable J. Clifford Wallace of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Diego and the Honorable Kimba M. Wood of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He was a trial and appellate litigator practicing with Caldwell Leslie & Proctor PC in Los Angeles and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York and London, where he handled international commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and intellectual property disputes. He joined USD School of Law in 2011.
Honors and Affiliations
Agcaoili served as a senior editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a member of the Order of the Coif.
