Professor Gibson teaches professional responsibility.
Professional Experience
Gibson is an attorney at the law firm DLA Piper LLP (US) in the intellectual property and technology group. Her practice focuses on IP litigation in federal courts and in the International Trade Commission.
Honors and Affiliations
Gibson graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nebraska and cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as an editor on the San Diego Law Review and as a member of USD's Moot Court National Team. She is a member of the Order of the Barristers. Gibson has served on the San Diego County Bar Association's Legal Ethics Committee for many years and has served as an officer of the committee since 2007.
