Professor Shaltes is a supervising attorney for the California State Board of Equalization's (BOE) Tax Appeals Assistance Program state income tax clinic at USD.
Professional Experience
Shaltes has six years private practice experience in the area of civil litigation. He has spent more than 19 years at the Board of Equalization (BOE) working in income tax appeals. Since 2006, he has supervised the BOE’s Tax Appeals Assistance Program (TAAP) Franchise and Income Tax section, located at five law schools throughout California.
