Professor Nolan teaches and writes in the fields of torts and environmental law.
Professional Experience
Nolan taught at the Harvard School of Public Health and lectured in academic programs for the American Law Institute, American Bar Association and the American and California Trial Lawyers Associations. She joined the USD School of Law faculty in 1974.
Honors and Affiliations
Nolan is a member of the American Law Institute.

Nolan’s publications include Understanding Enterprise Liability (with Ursin) (Temple University Press, 1995) and "The Revitalization of Hazardous Activity Strict Liability" in 65 North Carolina Law Review 257 (1987).
