Professor Relyea teaches in the area of negotiation.
Professional Experience
Relyea was a partner at Higgs, Fletcher & Mack in San Diego, handling both defense and plaintiffs’ civil litigation cases until 1992. After completing mediation training at Harvard Law School, he established a full-time private mediation practice in San Diego as a mediator and arbitrator in the San Diego office of JAMS/ENDISPUTE. In 1999, he opened his own office as a private, independent mediator serving in a wide range of disputes.
Honors and Affiliations
Relyea teaches mediation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and California Western School of Law.
