Areas of Expertise
Professor Forry teaches graduate law courses in international finance and taxation.
Professional Experience
Forry has been founding partner of Forry Golbert Singer & Gelles, senior partner with law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, partner with Ernst & Young LLP, and international counsel and principal with international law and accounting firms dedicated to the business and personal interests of private clients. He has served on the advisory group to the U.S. Commissioner of Internal Revenue and currently divides his academic efforts among several U.S. and foreign law and business schools, as well as counseling private clients on international activities.
Honors and Affiliations
Forry is the director of tax programs at USD School of Law, overseeing the LLM in Taxation program and leading efforts to expand the reach and reputation of USD’s tax programs, continuing education programs and annual events. He is a long-time member of the California Bar, New York Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar, as well as a member of the International Bar Association and the International Fiscal Association.
