The University of San Diego School of Law has a long and rich tradition of offering outstanding training to law students while providing service to low-income residents in the San Diego communities. Beginning in 1971 as a volunteer project, our law students provide free legal services to San Diego residents in need.

The University of San Diego School of Law Legal Clinics provide training to upper-level law students while providing needed legal services. All Legal Clinic students are supervised by a practicing attorney and are bound by the Rules of the Professional Conduct established by the State Bar of California. When space permits, we will make appointments for interested individuals to meet for an intake with a law student. We are not able to accommodate walk-in clients.
