Clinics include a classroom component as well as interactions with clients. Clinic applications are available online (see link below), in the Registrar's office or at the Legal Clinics offices at Barcelona (BA), Suite 305. Prerequisites vary, so read the descriptions carefully. All courses require an interview with the professor and a signed permission slip to enroll. For Clinic I & II classes, the grading scale is a 4-tier Pass/Fail. Contact the USD Legal Clinics at (619) 260-7470 if you have any questions about the enrollment process. Enrollment is limited, and some clinics fill quickly.

Legal Clinics Application Procedure
Complete the application:
Attach an unofficial transcript and resume to your completed application. You can email or hand deliver to the Legal Clinics office located at Barcelona (BA) Suite 305. You will be contacted for an interview by the professor. The purpose of the interview is to give students an opportunity to meet with the professor and get detailed information regarding types of cases, time commitment, and class times.
