Professional Experience

An internationally recognized corporate governance and interdisciplinary scholar, Dallas practiced with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City as a securities, antitrust and corporate law litigator and corporate practitioner. She taught law at the University of Miami School of Law and American University Washington College of Law before joining the USD School of Law faculty in 1987. She has presented scholarly papers at numerous universities in the United States and abroad.

Honors and Affiliations

Dallas is a founding and current member of the Women’s Corporate Law Professor Group and the executive committee of the Association of American Law Schools section on law and socioeconomics. USD has honored her teaching and scholarship as the Herzog Endowed Scholar (1999-00, 2008-09), University Professor (2002-03), and Class of 1975 Award Recipient (2014-15).
