Conference
To add another party to a call (for a total of 6 parties)
1. Press <Conf>. [dial tone]
2. Dial the number of the new party and wait for an answer.
3. When you want to add the new person, press <Conf> again. (If no answer
or busy, press the call appearance button on hold.)
4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for additional conference connections.
To add a call you have put on hold to another call you are connected
to
1. Press <Conf>. [dial tone]
2. Press the call appearance button of the call on hold (first call).
3. Press <Conf> again.
To drop the last call added to the conference call
1. Press the Menu button and then press the softkey below Drop.
Exit
To exit a display feature and return to Normal Mode
1. Press the Exit button.
Hold
To keep a call on hold while you answer another call or perform another
task
1. Press <Hold>.
To return to the held call
1. Press the call appearance button of the held call.
Select Ring and Ringer
Volume
To select a personalized ring
1. Press and release <Conf/Ring> button.
2. Continue to press (and then release) <Conf/Ring>.
3. When you hear the desired ringing pattern, stop; you will hear 3 rings then
a beep.
To adjust ringer volume if necessary (speaker is not active)
1. To raise the volume, press the right half of the Volume control button labeled
^; to lower the volume, press the left half of the Volume control button labeled
v.
Speakerphone
To place or answer a call without lifting the handset, or to use the
speakerphone with any feature
1. Press <Spkr>.
2. Place or answer the call, or access the selected feature.
3. Adjust speakerphone volume if necessary. To raise the volume, press the
right half of the Volume control button labeled ^; to lower the volume, press
the left half of the Volume control button labeled v.
To change from the speakerphone to the handset
1. Pick up the handset and talk.
To change from the handset to the speakerphone
1. Press <Spkr>.
2. Within 10 seconds, hang up the handset.
To prevent the other person on the call from hearing you
1. Press <Mute>. (Red light goes on)
2. Press <Mute> again to resume taking to the party. (Light goes off)
When you finish Press <Spkr> to end call.
Call Timer
To see elapsed time (hours, minutes, seconds)
1. Press the Menu button and then press the softkey below CTime (Press Exit
which exits you from softkey mode).
2. To stop the timer and clear the display, press the Menu button and then
press the softkey below CTime again. (Press Exit).
Transfer
To send the present call to another extension or outside number
1. While on a call, press <Trnsfr>. [dial tone]
2. Dial the number to which the call is to be transferred. [ringback tone]
3. (Remain on the line and announce the call; if the line is busy or if there
is no answer, return to the held call by pressing its call appearance button.)
4. Press <Trnsfr> again.
5. Hang up.
Call Park
To park a call at your extension (for retrieval at any extension)
1. Press transfer, dial #7, press transfer again. [confirmation tone]
2. Hang up.
To retrieve a parked call from another extension
1. Pick up the handset or press <Spkr>.
2. Dial the Answer Back code #8.
3. Dial the extension where the call is parked. [confirmation tone]
Call Forwarding All Calls
To temporarily redirect all calls to an extension of your choice
1. Dial the Call Forward code *2.
2. Dial the extension where calls will be sent.
3. Hang up. [dial tone]
To cancel Call Forwarding
1. Dial the Call forward cancel code #2.
Last Number Dialed (Redial)
To redial the last number that you dialed
1. Press <Redial>.
Headset
When you use a headset for calls
1. To answer or hang up on a call press the Headset button.
Transfer to Voice Mail
To transfer a call to voice mail (if you have answered another person's
call)
1. Press the Transfer button, then dial the Xfer to VM code #9 and transfer
again.
Direct Call Pick Up
To pick up a call that is ringing on another extension
1 Dial the Direct call pick up code #0. (while-off-hook). [dial tone]
2. Dial the extension of the phone that is ringing.
Call Pickup
To pick up a call that is ringing on another extension that is your pickup
group
1 Press the Call Pickup (CPU) button, or dial the call pick up code #4 (while-off-hook).
Send All Calls
To send all calls immediately to coverage (if your system manager has
provided a coverage path for your extension) Voice Mail
1. Press the <Send Calls> button (while on-hook). Or dial the SAC code
*3.
To cancel Send All Calls
1. Press the <Send Calls> button again (while on-hook). Or dial the SAC
cancel code #3.
Speed Dialing
To program/reprogram an AD button on a hard button or using the softkeys in the
Menu
1. On a separate sheet of paper, write down the outside numbers you want to
program.
2. Pick up handset or press <Spkr>.
3. Press the Menu button and then press the softkey below Prog. [dial tone]
4. Press the AD button to be programmed. (You can press Menu then the softkey
below the AD in the Menu - You may have to press to Next or Prev to access
the other AD buttons in the menu.)
The display will ask Change #, 1=Yes, 2=No. Press 1.
Dial in # exactly as you would dial it. (918008531212) Press # sign to save.
7. Change label, 1=Yes, 2=No. Press 1
8. Watch the display as you put in the name using your dial pad. The letter
B you would press 2 twice, then * to advance. Press the # sign to save.
9. Repeat steps 4 through 9 for other AD buttons.
For the hard buttons on your phone, just press the Prog button in the Menu, then button you want to program, dial the number and press # sign to save. You can label these yourself.
To place an AD call
1. Press the selected AD button. (To access the AD buttons programmed in the
Menu - Press Menu, Next or Prev if needed, then the softkey below the name
or AD [#].
