Library Services provides support through web technologies and electronic resources to Copley Library, the Legal Research Center, as well as many satellite locations that track equipment. The department works with related library units to investigate, acquire and facilitate access to the library's electronic resources. Library Services provides access, support, and troubleshooting for the integrated library system, Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Sierra. This includes the online discovery platform, Encore Duet, which retrieves materials in all formats, full-text articles, and digital collections. We maintain the San Diego Circuit service, provide enriched content to records, and support the mobile on-line catalog. In addition, we evaluate new products, and troubleshoot and answer questions regarding existing systems, as well as implementing new products and features for USD's library community.

Library Services supports the digital asset management system, Shutterstock, WebDAM; for organizing, storing and retrieving digital assets in any format created by Marketing and University communications, as well as assets from various academic areas across campus. Library Services provides access to photo and video content, and building hierarchies on the system.
