Required Software for Itunes U
iTunes U is one of the publishing options at USD. If you are publishing content that you intend on being public, or private, there is a process in place.
Public content means that anyone in the world with a computer, an Internet connection and iTunes software can see your content. USD iTunes U (No-Log-In)
Private means that only those with a University of San Diego identification can see your content. USD iTunes U (USD log-in)
For all public content, there is an approval process. Several colleges at USD also require an approval for private content as well.
Academic Content: Public or Private
Contact your departmental content approver and request a 'course' be made on iTunes U for you. This course is one that will be used for any and all sections of the course.
Once a course has been created, you can then request that your files be uploaded.
Non-Academic Content: Public or Private
Contact your departmental content approver and request files be uploaded to iTunes U.
At the moment, the following schools have content uploaders and approvers:
- School of Law
- School of Nursing
- School of Business

A database and files depository will be made for this process. At the moment it remains manual. The forms below may be downloaded and then emailed to the Content Approvers.
