The Computer Replacement Program at the University of San Diego is designed to ensure that faculty and staff have access to desktop workstations that support current applications in their work and study.
Information technology has become a routine element in how we learn, teach, and work. The Computer Replacement Program indicates that USD is committed to ensuring that its faculty, students, and staff have access to current information tools.
In operation, the program has standardized the way new desktop equipment is funded and replaced. The program brings in and cycles 1,000 computers annually on average, relieving storage issues and ensuring that equipment is continually renewed and upgraded in a reasonable time frame across the board.
