Over the summer of 2015, Instructional Media Services (IMS) upgraded an additional number of classrooms in Serra Hall, Loma Hall, the Shiley Science and Technology Building and Mother Rosalie Hill Hall (SOLES).
New AMX Podium III: Serra Hall 209, 210, 211, 212 -- Loma Hall 301, 302, 318, 321, 322
New Equipment Upgrades to existing podiums: MRHH 127, 131, 133, 135, 201, 207, 211 -- SCTC 129, 130, 131, 230, 231, 232.
Instructional Media Services (IMS) has installed what has become the University standard, the AMX Podium III which is equipped with the AMX touch panel control, into nine (9) classrooms and upgraded items in existing podiums in thirteen (13) additional classrooms.
The AMX touch panel allows the instructor to power the data projector; lower an electric screen; control room volume and select a source for projection (built-in computer, DVD/VHS combination or Blu-Ray Player, a visiting laptop computer and a Document Camera). The AMX touch panel can also control the DVD/VHS combination or Blu-Ray player that is installed.
Other classrooms have received new podium equipment and screens.
